Which one is better processor snapdragon 650 or snapdragon 430

Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 vs Snapdragon 430 Comparison -

I didn't want you to read through the whole comprehensive number of differences between the two and then break this bad news in the end:

There's no point comparing two SoCs or processors.

You'll buy a phone as a whole.

It's not like you'll get to choose the parts you want to customize - like LTE radios, camera sensors, and megapixels.

Neither will you be able to upgrade your phone's CPU or RAM after purchasing.

As such it's obviously the Snapdragon 650. The general rule is that unless you're comparing two different generations - released in different years - of SoCs with the one having a higher model number being older than the other by more than 2 years, the higher model number one is generally better.

There's a vast difference between these two model numbers. So either turn back right now or dive in for details:

The GPU in 650 (Adreno 510) is a slightly higher-ranked part than the one in 430 (Adreno 505)

You might be confused when it comes to the cores. But let me tell you that while 430 has more cores (8) than 650 (6) and the first four cores are identical - Cortex A53 - in both SoCs, the next four cores are also Cortex A53 in Snapdragon 430, while the remaining two cores in 650 are of Cortex A72 type. They are also clocked faster at 1.8 GHz than Cortex A53's 1.4 GHz.

Next, the 650 supports LTE Cat. 7 300 Mbps while 430 has a Cat 4 radio worth 150 Mbps.

650 supports 4K video recording and Quad HD (2560 x 1440p) display resolution while 430 is limited to 1080p (1920 x 1080) capture and display resolution.

Both support HEVC video format playback.
